What I really love about doing still life photography is creating different stories. What I mean is I get to express myself with all the different things that I enjoy. Like flowers, gardening, baking, holidays, and what ever else inspires my imagination. And that's it in a nutshell! My imagination....I have a great imagination and sometimes words don't say what I see...so creating a still life story gets it out there with the help of a few words.

Roses and Lace is by far one of my favorite images so far this year! I just love how everything fell into place. The slightly aged pink and white mini roses cascading down the side, the placing of the lace ribbon, the vintage books.
